Some of you may remember me talking in other threads about wanting to get a tattoo. I’ve had many opportunities, but could never decide on a design, so I kept putting it off. I wanted my first tattoo to be significant to me. I wanted it to symbolize something important to me.

I love laughter. Always have. It’s my drug. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I’m a pretty fucking funny guy if you get to know me. Its always been there to keep me alive. No matter how down I get, I can always find something to laugh at.

I believe in being positive. I’ve suffered from depression my entire life. The best way I’ve found for myself, is to always look for the positive in any situation I’m in. I practice optimism daily. I search for the bright side. I believe that every problem has it’s solutions. Even when I don’t feel positive about myself, I remind myself of the positive that others who I call my friends, see in me.

I love comic books. A nerd at heart, comic books have been my passion on and off for 20 years.

I love my pc. The internet has given me the opportunity to create a community of friends whom I love and cherish. It has allowed me to express myself in way that have impacted my life in more ways then I could imagine.

I love my daughter. She is my bright light. She is the best thing that I have ever put into this world. When she’s not with me, I ache, I worry, I fret. Even when I need a break from her, it can never be for too long. I love being her dad.

So with all of those things in mind, I had my daughter sit and draw me the following picture which was traced onto my arm and then tattooed.
